How it works

Four steps, and we handle three of them.

01

Choose your category

One business per category, per city. Take the groomer slot and you are the only groomer in the mailer.

02

Tell us your goals

New clients, one specific service, a seasonal push. We build the offer around what you actually want more of.

03

Approve your ad

Our designers lay it out and send you a proof. Nothing goes to press until you sign off on it.

04

We mail it

Delivered to every verified dog-owning household in your city, with your own tracked QR code.

The card

One card. Eight businesses.

Every edition is a single oversized card on heavy stock, mailed to every verified household in the city. The presenting sponsor takes the front. The eight category slots share the back, each with its own tracked QR code.

No envelope to open, nothing to unfold. It goes on the counter or the fridge — which is where a phone number actually gets used.

Why Dog Digest

Verified beats guessed.

A shared coupon pack drops on ten thousand homes and hopes some of them own a dog. We already know which ones do.

Verified, not guessed

Our lists come from municipal dog licence records — a government document saying there is a dog at that address. Not an ad platform guessing from what someone clicked.

One per category

Eight advertisers share the card and no two compete. Your category is yours for the whole edition, and it comes off the board once it sells.

Measured, not estimated

Every advertiser gets a tracked QR code and a written report on day 14 and day 45. Scans, calls and new customers — not impressions.

Done for you

Design, print, postage and list management are all included in the slot. You approve a proof and go back to running your business.

How it compares

Against what you are probably doing now.

Shared coupon mail

Cheap per household and genuinely broad. You also share the envelope with dozens of unrelated advertisers, and most of the homes it lands in have never owned a dog.

Social ads

Precise on paper, and easy to switch on and off. But the platform is inferring pet ownership from behaviour, and your ad competes with everything else in the feed for a second of attention.

Dog Digest

Every address verified against municipal licence records. One advertiser per category. A physical card that stays on the counter, and a QR code that tells you exactly what it produced.

FAQ

Questions we get asked.

Where does the mailing list come from?

City dog licence records, obtained through public records requests. We clean the file, drop expired licences and duplicates, and verify what is left into a mailable list of households that provably own a dog. Addresses are used for postal delivery only and are never resold.

How much does a slot cost?

$1,495 per edition, all in — design, print, postage and reporting. That works out to a few cents per verified dog-owning household.

What if my competitor takes my category first?

Then that category is closed for the edition and we will tell you straight away. Categories are first come, first served, and we would rather put you in the next edition than double up.

How do I know it worked?

Your ad carries a QR code unique to your business. We report scans and lead activity on day 14 and again on day 45, measured against the month before the drop.

Do you publish where my business is?

Tell us your city in the form below. We open new editions where advertisers are already asking, and a records request usually takes a few weeks to come back.

Request information

Tell us your category and your city.

We’ll send the household numbers for your specific segment and what’s still open. One business day, no pitch deck.

Category exclusivity confirmed in writing before you pay.

Design, print, postage and reporting included in the slot price.

No obligation. We’ll tell you honestly whether your category is worth the spend.
